Description

For short term protection and treatment of tetanus in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and dogs. Tetanus is caused by infection of wounds with the spores of Clostridium tetani. Spores lodge in the wound, germinate and multiply, liberating toxin which causes disease. Of domestic animals, horses, sheep and goats are most susceptible. The disease is relatively uncommon in other species. Disease is easy to prevent but difficult to treat.
